Most importantly my name, its Kaitlyn, but I mostly go by Kait. I am married to my college sweetheart, who also happens to be a hunky Coast Guard Officer. The other important little man in my life is Liam; the handsome 3-year-old with big eyes that stole my heart. In fact, Liam helped to name my business. You all know that tearjerker book with toilet paper on the cover? Well I decided to name my business after that book, “Love You Forever”, by Robert Munch. We added another little man to the mix in September 2015. Jack is one of those trick babies, that make you think you can have 4 more. I love those two little boys like crazy, they make my world complete. I have recently renamed my business Kait McNamara Photography, but my original name will forever hold a special place in my heart.
I was born and raised in Massachusetts, but have lived in New Hampshire, New York City and Charleston, SC, Belfast, ME, Syracuse, NY and now located in Odenton, MD! Serving northern VA, DC, and Baltimore! The Coast Guard moves us every 3 years, so maybe my next stop will be near you?!
I started my journey as a photographer by taking an evening adult education course in high school. The love, drive, and obsession began then. For a long time I simply did it for fun, but I some how knew that it would eventually become my career. Having my first son only perpetuated my fascination with learning, shooting, and diving in headfirst to this field. So this is where I am today; living out my dream one state at a time
